more pieces come together

Within last days the light weight tube has been delivered. So it's time to pull the components together in oder to get a better understanding of the minimum size of the housing required. In addition I was able to check if the dimensions of the aequatorial pier has been selected correctly to support avoiding meridian flip. As well it's confirmed that aequatorial pier has to be more stablized - That's okay had have been expected. Even without optical components the mounted tube looks impressive. Having my 6 inch refraktor mounted before, I thought "What a small telescope on this huge mount" now it's quite vice versa. After having optical components installed, I will see how it works.
