Total Lunar Eclipse ...
Even that Lunar Eclipses are not within my focus of astronomical working areas - the extraordinary good weather conditions "forces" me to participate on this event. Below you will find my very first image ~20min after beginning of the total phase. A very interesting experience was the change in brightness. Full Moon required exposure times in the range of 1/2000s @ ISO 400. When it comes to the total phase exposure times are in the order of 1-2s @ ISO 3200.
I was not able to extend to longer exposure times to come to lower ISO values in order to reduce the noise, because my current telesope does not have a tracking and longer exposure would lead to unsharpness driven by the appearent movement of the moon caused by the rotation of the earth.
