Paper on Constrains on Structure of Triton's atmosphere from observation of Stellar Occultation published

 

Meanwhile more than 4 years ago Neptun's greatest moon passes the star Gaia DR 2610107911326516992 on October 5h, 2017 with the opportunitiy of observation in Europe nothern Africa and partially in USA. The occulted star had a brightness of V=12.7 mag, wich a allow an observation with relativ small telescopes and exposure times which allows some time resolution. I used a not very sensitiv webcam which required an exposure of 0.8 sec to get a good S/N. Together will all other observers 90 light curves has been collected.
