Working on GAIA Photometric Alerts

Within the GAIA Science Alert project (GSA) teams a searching for transient events in the data of GAIA. 
A transient event is anything in the sky which appear, changes or disapears. There is a website available which publishs transient alerts in real time: http://gsaweb.ast.cam.ac.uk/alerts/

On April 09th, 2017 a supernovae has bin discovered in galaxy M63 (NGC 5055) within constellation Canes Venatici. Brightness has been measured at mag 18, which is for a supernovae @ M63 distance not very bright, but....
